Future Plans

I am making this post in response to all the positivity that has been coming twords me and my project, I really appreciate all of you! Thank you! I was in no way expecting so many people to play my game and enjoy it, it's really mind-blowing. Okay, now that that's out of the way, I'm going to get into the meat and potatoes of this post. I have been getting quite a few comments asking for some kind of continuation for this project and currently I am considering my options. I will say this isn't the end of me making games, I am only just the start of my game dev journey so I will absolutely will be making more projects in the future. In this post, I will be talking about my current plan for the future, but these plans are subject to change. That is why I have made a Twitter and Youtube account (linked at the bottom of this post) to keep people updated as to what I will be doing.

The Plan:

So, this is the current plan. I really like this concept of mixing dating sim with other genres, so I want to try this concept out with other genres and experiment a bit. Really have fun with it and see where it goes. I also feel like me making these games in short time periods helps me actually finish them instead of giving up on them. So, what I'm thinking is I could try to make three or four more games like this one in the months of May and June (might be a little later in the month as I am currently finishing off the school year and starting a new job). Then, whichever people enjoy the most, I want to spend the next few months after that to make a full length (possibly commercial) version of that game. Other than that, I will probably also still be participating in game jams that catch my eye, and those games will probably be very different than dating sims.

After that, I don't really know. However, I hope that you will be along for the ride as I take first few baby steps into my game dev journey :)
