This is the first game I sideloaded on my Playdate months ago and was seriously impressed with the graphics on this. Also really appreciated the ambient sounds to make the settings come to life. This is one of my go to games for showing off what the Playdate is capable of and I hope you have plans for more cool projects like this.
First game I sideloaded when I received my playdate (only game tagged as playdate and furry). Was interesting to play, although short.
Would be cool if you could maybe add little minigames for the cafe, office or construction site that used the crank too.
Had troubles with saving and loading - every time I went to load it would just crash - not a problem though as I could just use the crank to fast forward.
Interested to see what else can be done using this moving forward.
I'm sorry the loading crashed your game, this was my first time making a saving and loading feature and I really had no idea what I was doing lol
edit: Oh, you know what? I know exactly what is causing the crashing from loading. People were having issues before with crashing on the device and it turned it was because I would load background audio into memory instead of streaming it from the disk-drive. I just checked the source code and I never changed the loading feature from loading into memory so that's probably the problem. Thank you for telling me! If I end up expanding this game at all, I will be sure to fix that :3
Thank you for your interest! I currently don't have plans to port this game natively to other platforms. That doesn't mean it's out of the question, but currently the plan is it will only be available for Playdate.
Fortunately, the Playdate SDK Simulator works on Windows, Mac, and Linux and you can run the game on that for free! I put instructions on the game's download page if you would like to give it a try.

Hey Wonder Bear! If you download the PlaydateSdk on play.date there is the simulator you can play on it directly! I just did it ^^
